Our 2019 Steer-Aid Clinic will be held in conjunction with an educational Stock Show U, and with the Junior Extravaganza. Save the weekend of SATURDAY JUNE 1 and SUNDAY, JUNE 2, 2019 for the hands-on youth beef events at the Ark Valley Fairground's indoor livestock barn and covered pavilion in Rocky Ford, CO.

Sullivan Supply again generously is offering one of its "best in the business" professors, who will be available on Saturday, June 1 to offer local beef exhibitors hands-on tips and help for their beef projects. It will include daily hair care, grooming, fitting and showmanship. It is a free event for both beginners and seasoned beef showman.

An open jackpot will be scheduled for the weekend. Overnight stalling is offered for your animals (which also teaches them a valuable lesson of strange sounds and locations).

Events spill over into Sunday, June 2 when the Junior Extravaganza, a multi-breed field day, will be held. Simmental and Shorthorn youth are planning some fun games, salesmanship contests and a beef bowl, plus other breeds are expected to be added additional events.

Watch for more details, but SAVE THE WEEKEND for these must-attend beef youth events.

WW Feed & Supply rotates locations to reach out to youth throughout the area. WW Feed & Supply offered its first Steer-Aid Clinic in 2008 and Sullivan Supply began its Stock Show U program in 2010. They are annually merged into a single event in southeast Colorado, as a way to “give back” and help educate youth.

WW Feed & Supply's mobile Sullivan Supply unit often goes to fairs and shows packed full of grooming supplies. To make arrangements for your event, please contact Susan at WW Feed & Supply.
